Belong at Home offers a support service that is a unique as you. Our Belong Lifestyle Companions will help you and your family live a life that is familiar, comfortable and safe from your own home.

We recognise that not everyone chooses to move into a Belong village but would like the flexibility of using the facilities that we have on offer whilst accessing our expert individualised support whilst you continue to live within the wider Belong community.

Belong at Home customers will have the opportunity of living in their own homes with some extra support at times of the day, week or month to suit your personal needs, or the family calendar. Our services are tailored to your own personal needs and are provided by our expert Belong Lifestyle Companions.

Person centred support from people who understand

Our Lifestyle Companions have received a wide spectrum of training including specialist dementia awareness and have developed skills to enable them to support each person as an individual. We will only present companions who have at least 2 years of experience of supporting people and you will have the opportunity to select the person(s) that best suits your needs.

Specialist Dementia services designed by you and supported by us

We know how difficult life can be for the person with Dementia and in particularly for close friends and relatives. Our support will be tailored to the needs of the person. This means that support may be different each day or each week. It may be to help with hobbies and activities, to stay overnight or to spend some time in the house to enable family to take some time out for themselves. Belong at Home services in summary:

• Self referral; via the Internet or Telephone
• Direct contact through a Belong Village
• Through Age concern – Starting point.
• Dementia Adviser – demonstrator site
• Through social services
• Direct payments

Charges

This will depend on the type of service that you require. As we promise; this is a unique service and will be tailored to your needs and to your pocket. Once our Support Manager has carried out the assessment with you and your family we can determine what this will look like. Details of charges are available on request.
