Andrew Woods - Belong Didsbury - Practice Development Facilitator

Andrew has almost 20 years’ experience of working within a variety of roles within the health and social care sector. He developed much of his practice as an Assistant Practitioner within the NHS and Manchester Primary Care Trust, providing care for adults within Manchester’s Learning Disability Partnership, and implementing the training and development needs of the Learning Disability team, to ensure it operated effectively. 

Andrew qualified as a teacher in 2010 and began his teaching career at Walkden Sixth Form College, where he continuously and effectively encouraged all levels of learners to aspire, aim high and achieve high. He also took responsibility for re-engaging in work based learning to prepare, plan and deliver leadership and management training on apprenticeship programmes across the adult social care sector, before joining Belong Morris Feinmann as a Practice Development Facilitator.
