Caroline Clifton - Admiral Nurse

Mental health nurse, Caroline Clifton, was recruited as Belong’s first Admiral Nurse following the formation of a partnership with Dementia UK in 2013, further enhancing the organisation’s expertise and resources in this area.

Caroline supports the families and carers of Belong residents and customers, both in the village and people living in the wider community. Caroline also provides advice and support to Belong staff in how best to care for the person living with dementia.

Previously, Caroline worked for the Cheshire and Wirral NHS Foundation Trust for 15 years, where she worked with people living with mental health problems, including dementia, in the Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach and Alsager areas.

She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Practice in Mental Health Interventions, completed within the Dementia Care Pathway at the University of Manchester.
