Sector leading pay

We pay the Real Living Wage or above across the organisation and we are committed to equal pay, based on the role being carried out, regardless of age or gender.

Bank holidays

We offer enhanced pay for those working bank holidays.

Life assurance

Should a Belong colleague die in service, our scheme will pay a year’s salary to their beneficiary.


Generous pension

We offer an industry leading pension scheme and will contribute up to 8% of your salary each month.


Flexible working hours

We aim to accommodate flexible shift patterns that fit with your commitments.

Holidays

With generous holidays, you’ll have plenty of time to unwind away from work.



Recognition schemes

We seek out those people who go that extra mile for our customers and colleagues by shining a light on their achievements at our annual group-wide Belong Champions Awards Ceremony. We also have monthly ACE Awards to recognise colleagues locally in each service and have an excellent track record in supporting colleagues to enter national and regional awards.


Discounted use of on-site facilities

All Belong colleagues are eligible for a colleague discount when they use village facilities such as The Bistro and Hair Salon.

Mileage paid

Mileage is paid for all colleagues at 45p per mile.

Employee Assistance Programme

All Belong colleagues are able to access an independent confidential support service (open 24 hours a day 365 days a year), offering everything from emotional and physical support and advice, to legal and financial advice, as well as a range of other services. We also have First Aiders and Mental Health First Aiders at every site.


Refer a Friend Scheme

We offer a reward to colleagues who recommend us as an employer as well as a generous joining bonus to those who take up employment with us via this route.

Early pay

Belong colleagues have access to a scheme enabling you to draw down some of your pay early in an emergency, such as when facing unexpected bills. Further details are available from our HR and Recruitment department on request.

Reimbursement of professional memberships

Belong will refund the cost of professional memberships to key industry bodies, such as the Royal College of Nursing .

Blue Light Card

Blue Light provides access to more than 15,000 discounts from high street shops, to grocery shops, days out and holidays. As someone who works in social care you will be eligible to sign up for an account and access discounts on the go. Belong will even cover the cost of signing up for your card!
