Karen Burgess - Belong Macclesfield - Belong at Home Area Manager

Karen has worked in the care sector for 29 years starting as a Support Worker in a dementia unit.  After two years Karen took up a position as a Community Support Worker for Social Services, working with vulnerable adults in the community.  In 2009 she worked as a Senior for the Reablement team within Social Services assisting vulnerable adults to aim towards independence sourcing care and support when required.

After 21 years with Social Services Karen joined Belong at Home as a Community Support Worker, quickly rising to Senior, and in 2016  became the Registered Manager for Belong at Home.
