Belong has worked hard to embed the arts in all that we do, helped in part by a four-year partnership with Liverpool’s centre for contemporary arts, The Bluecoat, which saw acclaimed artists take up ‘residencies’ in our villages, including at Belong Chester.
At Chester we are fortunate to have the Creative Studio as a dedicated space for artistic endeavour! This bright and welcoming facility has provided the setting for a range of magical creative experiences, from pottery to plaque making and painting to storytelling and scripting.
We also have close links with the Grosvenor Museum, which hosted an exhibition of resident artwork created through our partnership with the Bluecoat, and helps run art inspired activities for residents at the village.
