Belong’s very own Angela Luckett, experience and cultural coordinator at Belong Morris Feinmann, Didsbury, has been drafted in to help with the Government’s ‘Made with Care’ campaign and spent some time last week championing social care with local news teams in Manchester.
The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC)’s recruitment campaign aims to raise the profile of the adult care sector and encourage people to explore and apply for one of the many rewarding roles within care. As part of the drive, Angela joined forces with apartment tenant, Pauline Pike, to speak with Manchester Local TV (available on Sky) and sister publication, Manchester World.
Stacey McCann, Belong chief operating officer, said: “It was the most genuine and honest piece and it struck a chord in my heart. We are incredibly fortunate to have Angela as part of the Belong team – she is such a brilliant advocate for work in social care and speaking out like this will make others think about coming to work in our industry.”
