Remembrance Sunday & Armistice Day 2026 🪖
The village has a new, special exhibition featuring an original edition of The Sentinel Stoke-on-Trent Live newspaper from 1915, documenting news, editorial and details of the challenges that hardship brought during The Great War. 🗞️
It was kindly donated to the village earlier this year by a local person who found it during a clearout. (If this was you, please get in touch as we'd love to invite you down to take a look!).
We invite all our customers, their families, and the the public to pop in to view it and why not grab a brew whilst you're here. 🖼️☕️

Newcastle-under-Lyme and the surrounding areas
Enjoying a central location in the town, Belong Newcastle-under-Lyme is located opposite St Giles’ church on the site of the former Samuel Bell’s pottery, later to become the iconic Maxims nightclub. The restored grade II listed building is now home to the Belong Heritage Gallery, placing the village firmly on the town’s heritage trail in its own right. It houses Samuel Bell’s Tea Room, a recreation of the Old Pomona Trail, a timeline and children’s trail, reminiscence lounge and a range of exhibition spaces.
