Welcome to Belong Birkdale

Belong Birkdale, our latest multi-million-pound state-of-the-art village, in Oxford Road is scheduled to open autumn 2026, when we look forward to bringing our award-winning services and facilities to the local community.

The village will provide a high-specification home for over 100 people, comprising 74 beds divided across six households with 24-hour care and nursing support, as well as 30 one and two-bedroom independent living apartments, which will be available to buy or rent.

These are arranged around a vibrant hub with a range of amenities, such as a bistro, hair salon, exercise studio and function rooms. Outreach services will also be available to people in the wider community, including Belong’s award-winning home care offering, Belong at Home, and a specialist day care service.

The village will feature distinctive details and materials inspired by the West Birkdale Conservation Area, including Reigate Medium Multi brickwork, stone cladding to apartment balconies and feature window surrounds.

Belong at Home Southport – now operating

We’re also pleased to confirm that our award-winning home care service, Belong at Home Southport, launched at the end of 2025, and is now operating locally, expanding steadily to support people living in the Southport area. This enables customers to enjoy Belong’s high-quality care in their own homes, supporting independence while remaining part of the wider community.

Belong at Home operates out of our newly opened premises in Southport, 4a Eastbank Street, PR8 1DW, just around the corner from the Atkinson. We’re normally open 10am to 5pm but we recommend calling ahead if you’d like to call in for a chat and a brew to find out more about our services and to meet the team.
