Everyone’s circumstances are different, which is why Belong offers a range of care and support options.
These include help at home, supported Experience Days and 24-hour residential, nursing and dementia care within our village households. A personal assessment helps us understand the individual’s health, abilities, interests and aspirations so that support can be shaped around what matters to them.
Residential care is provided in small households of up to 12 people, combining private en-suite accommodation with shared living, dining and kitchen spaces.
Nursing support is available across every household, allowing care to come to the resident if their needs change. This approach enables people to remain in familiar surroundings, maintain established relationships and continue to play an active part in their household and the wider village community.
Specialist support is available at every stage.
Belong at Home helps people remain independent in their own homes, while Experience Days provide meaningful activities, companionship and respite for family carers. Belong’s Admiral Nurses offer specialist guidance to customers living with dementia and their families, including emotional support, practical strategies and help coordinating with other professionals. Across all services, the focus is on promoting choice, independence, wellbeing and the best possible quality of life.
