Dyan Crimes - Belong Chester - Intergenerational Experience Coordinator

Belong Chester is pleased to welcome Dyan as the new Intergenerational Experience Co-ordinator.Dyan is responsible for leading the village’s Experience Days, events, and activities programme for customers, tenants, residents and members of the wider community. She also plays a key role in creating meaningful opportunities for occupation and engagement across all households within the village. Working closely with the Nursery, Households, and Experience teams, Dyan develops inclusive activities and experiences that bring together nursery children, residents, tenants and customers, encouraging connection, participation and well-being for all involved. Dyan brings a wealth of experience from both care and education settings. Her background includes working in care, where she organised activity programmes and supported fundraising initiatives, before moving into education as a pastoral lead within a school environment. A qualified counsellor, Dyan is particularly passionate about mental health and wellbeing and is committed to creating positive, enriching experiences that support people of all ages. Outside of work, Dyan is married with two children and enjoys spending time outdoors on dog walks with her Border Collies.
