All apartment tenants have access to a daily checking service and 24-hour emergency response, both included within the community fee.
As the building includes a 24-hour care setting, the emergency response is provided by Belong’s own on-site staff team rather than relying on calling out to a cover agency for this service.
Belong apartments are designed by leading architects for older people’s settings and built to the highest standards to meet the needs of our residents. Features include extra-wide corridors and doorways, and bathrooms are fully accessible to wheelchair users, with easy-to-open doors and colour contrast furnishings to enhance perceptibility.
From our wet-room shower design to our easy-to-reach plug and light sockets, every detail has been considered. Each apartment contains an access system for controlling the entry of visitors, including a two-way audio entry phone. Wiring is pre-installed for digital and satellite television, with broadband 'hotspot' facilities available throughout the village.
Apartment tenants are invited to join in the village What’s On programme of events and activities and indeed to influence its development to ensure that activities on offer reflect their interests.
There is also a discounted rate for apartment tenants when it comes to use of the Belong bistro and gym. Other facilities include a hair salon and an entertainment venue with licensed bar, which can also be rented for private events.

Integrated retirement communities (IRCs), sometimes known as extra care housing or assisted living, is an umbrella term describing independent living, together with care services available if needed; amenities that help to facilitate an active lifestyle; and the opportunities to connect with other people.
All Belong villages are IRCs, home to one and two-bed apartments available to rent or buy and complemented with state-of-the-art facilities including bistro, salon, and specialist gyms. Our apartment tenants have access to a continuum of care as needs change, as well as a vibrant activities and experiences programme designed to promote wellbeing.

All Belong village centres are open to the public and visitors are always welcome. You can stop by at any time and sampling the refreshments in our bistro is often a great way to sit and observe village life. We’re also happy to arrange formal tours.
